An October Morning In and Around Westport, Connecticut

Well, the fall colors were great this year, even though they weren't supposed to be!   And.....I just received some promotional rolls of the new Kodak Ektachrome VS100 in the mail.  So, I felt obliged to get up early one Saturday morning and hit the road.   I have to say this new film really gives Velvia a run for the money.  It seems to saturate yellows and reds more than velvia, but handles greens without velvia's characteristic nearly-fluorescent tones.  The grain is fantastic as well, even though it's rated at ISO 100 versus Velvia's 50.

Take a look at the photos below;  a couple of them are Velvia shots from a roll I had in the camera.  The remainder are VS100.  Give this film a try!
